Terms of Service
Please read these Terms carefully. By using Talon Audit you agree to them. The most important points: only analyse sites you are authorised to test, findings are automated and provided "as is", and our liability is limited.
01 Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and RaptorLabs ("we", "us") governing your access to and use of Talon Audit (the "Service"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02 The Service
Talon Audit renders a website you submit, inspects it with a set of deterministic and AI-based tools, and returns findings, a Talon Score and four domain scores, and recommended fixes. The Service is provided for informational and diagnostic purposes to help you improve websites you control.
03 Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use at info@raptorlabs.dev.
04 Authorisation to analyse targets
You may only submit URLs for websites that you own or for which you have explicit authorisation to conduct testing. Submitting a URL is your representation that you have that authority. Unauthorised scanning of third-party systems may be unlawful. Your use is further governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
05 Automated findings — no professional advice
Findings, scores and recommendations are generated automatically, in part by machine-learning models, and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. They are not professional, legal, security, medical or financial advice, and are not a guarantee that a site is secure, compliant or defect-free. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any output before acting on it. Always test changes in a safe environment.
06 Intellectual property & your content
The Service, including its software, design and brand, is owned by RaptorLabs and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain rights to the content you submit; you grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the Service. You may use the reports we generate for you for your own business purposes.
07 Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: violating the Acceptable Use Policy; overloading, scanning at abusive volume, or attacking any target; probing systems you do not control; interfering with the Service; reverse-engineering it except as permitted by law; or reselling it without authorisation. We may throttle, suspend or terminate access for violations.
08 Availability & changes
The Service may be offered in beta and is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
09 Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that findings will be accurate or complete.
10 Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAPTORLABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
11 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RaptorLabs from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your submitted targets, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law — including any unauthorised analysis of third-party systems.
12 Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect the Service or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including §§05–11) will survive.
13 Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at RaptorLabs' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. Questions: legal@raptorlabs.dev.
